I can’t log in / I see an error message
Please try these steps:
- Use one of our supported browsers: Google Chrome (best), Firefox, or Microsoft Edge. Please note Safari is not supported.
- Make sure your browser is updated to the latest version.
- Clear your browser’s cache and cookies. (See how to do this in Chrome).
- Disconnect from your VPN (if you’re on one) or try from another network/personal device.
- Enable cookies by selecting “Allow all cookies” in your browser’s Privacy & Security settings.

I forgot my password
No problem, resetting is easy:
- Go to the login page and click “Forgot your password.”
- Check your inbox (and Spam/Junk folders) for the reset email.
- If you don’t receive it, please make sure to allow emails from academy.mckinsey.com.
If you’re still unable to reset your password, please submit your question through the Contact Us button and our team will assist you within 2–3 working days.
I am getting a 'wrong credentials' error message when trying to log in.
If you get this error message, try resetting your password by selecting 'Forgot your password?' from the login page. You will receive an email containing a link to reset your password.
Where can I find my Unique ID?
You’ll see your Forward Unique ID in every email from our team. It appears right under the greeting line (“Dear {First Name}”). Keep this handy, as you may need it to register for webinars or submit forms.
Can I change my registered name?
We understand you may need to update your name. Name changes are only possible at certain points during the program, and we’ll notify you by email when requests are open. At that time, you’ll be invited to submit an application to update your registered name.
I’m not receiving emails from the Forward team
If you haven’t received our emails, please:
- Check your Spam/Promotions folder for messages from forward_learners@mckinsey.com.
- Mark any Forward emails as “Not Spam” so future ones land in your inbox.
- Visit mckinsey.com and subscribe using your email address (scroll to the bottom of the homepage).
