Lucas is an entrepreneur, engineer, and conservationist. A leader in Argentina’s startup scene, Lucas brings a passion and knowhow for innovative problem solving to some of the world’s most intractable issues.

As head of McKinsey.org’s Sustainable Communities supply work in Argentina, Lucas designs and tests solutions to the global waste crisis through the Rethinking Recycling program. Lucas draws heavily on his experience as a cofounder of Cleanergy Renovables, which creates and operates anaerobic biodigesters. He believes that time is running short to create solutions for a healthy planet for future generations and has dedicated his career to working toward a more sustainable world.

Before joining McKinsey.org, Lucas was a consultant at McKinsey & Company. He joined the Firm in 2016, serving clients across both business and government, with a specialization in energy, operations and organizational change.

Born and raised in Cordoba, Argentina, Lucas has worked in sustainability and engineering across the globe. A former Fulbright Scholar, Lucas holds a master’s degree in Engineering Management from Northeastern University. He is a lover of travel and dedicated meditation practitioner, Lucas also enjoys spending time on his family house in the hills surrounded by nature, friends and family.
